Kenneth Lockwood W.

My grandpa. "Pop-pop".
He was the strongest, straight-faced man I ever met. He did everything and anything for you. He was also a very sweet man when he wasn't putting on the fearless leader face on. He loved Westerns, and was such a modern day cowboy: the John Wayne of Eastport. He loved his Mets and he loved his recliner. I will never forget his random sayings that made everyone laugh so hard that they cried. I won't forget how every morning he would go to the deli up the street and get us bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches in the mornings and how he would fix the pool up for us kids every summer. He was a man of few words, but you could tell that he felt very deeply for his family. He was a great grandfather, a good father to my father, and a wonderful husband to my grandmother. I miss him so much, but I know that God has a perfect place for him in Heaven and I have no doubt that I will see him again one day.
My heart hurts, but he is in peace now, and there is no better place to be than by God's side in Heaven.
Rest in peace my sweet Pop.
